Sustana has sustainable manufacturing operations across North America.

Recycling post-consumer content into premium fiber at state-of-the-art production facilities.

Our two production operations follow proprietary processes to manufacture premium white recycled fiber from post-consumer content.  Products are used to make printing and commercial papers, tissue paper, and packaging, including food-grade packaging products.

The mills have a longstanding commitment to sustainable manufacturing. This includes energy efficiency, water conservation, advanced wastewater treatment technology, and recycling 100% of de-inking by-products.

Environmental printing papers and security papers, from Rolland

Rolland brand premium uncoated fine papers – with 30% to 100% post-consumer recycled fiber content – have a longstanding reputation for superior quality.

These papers are made at the only mill in North America fueled mainly by biogas energy from a local landfill. This keeps carbon dioxide emissions at industry low levels, helping to limit climate change. Maintaining a small environmental footprint is business as usual for Rolland – it has used biogas since 2004 and first made recycled paper in 1989.
